This will become a great place to work...

After yet another trip to IKEA yesterday, we were ready to tackle the storage room on the first floor and the study. While we got my desk already last week, there was still the need for some more shelf space in both the study and the storage. Naturally, there was only one shelf design that could meet our standards (read more about it here).

Now I was able to get stuff out of the boxes into the shelves and onto the desk... pretty neat!



I love the inclined desktop which will be a new drawing experience for me. Whether good or bad I don't know yet, but I can always make it flat should I get irritated. While writing this entry I am just learning that with the current maximum slope it's less comfy to type on the keyboard, but I am sure it will be great for drawing and sketching.

I'm also very happy that everything is now made from wood, which gives overall a more warm and natural feeling.
