Inbetween iPad

Forgot to mention this a little while ago when I watched the iPad keynote and promotional video: in the promo video they play a instrumental cover version of The Cure's Inbetween Days (as of 1:17 min).
I am not the only one who noticed, of course, and picked up chatter on the web that this is a version of Ben Folds (though I could only find non-instrumental versions of his).

So... who at Apple picked this song?
I'd guess Scott Forstall... he looks the type.
