Displacement and Telenet confusion

After another hauling session to the new apartment this morning, I got busy at my old place in the afternoon, too, and - after having packed loads of boxes before -, pushed around the big stuff.

And here it is, nicely gathered in one corner:



Which means other corners are empty (well, more or less):



Apart from that, I learned yesterday that there was a problem with our Telenet contract, because Telenet could not find the actual cable in the house, which made them terminate the order (dang! - this includes Internet, TV and fixed phone line!).

I double-checked with the landlord, who confirmed the cable is actually there and who provided the relevant codes for a connection. I then called Telenet this afternoon, who tried to figure out what is wrong here. They did not manage to clarify this until tonight, because the responsible person is on holiday today.

Sigh.

Well, I hope they will confirm everything is clear tomorrow and subsequently set up a new appointment as quickly as possible.

Hum. A place without Internet is only half an apartment, so I hope there's not a bad surprise lurking somewhere...
