The afternoon where we moved a bit and ended up test driving a car

Today was the second day where we dragged packed boxes and smaller items into the new apartment. Gee! - this does not seem to have an end... but then again, there are still a few days this week to get some more moving done.

This morning we brought over another load from Lamia's apartment and while we waited for the man from Eandis to give us access to electricity, Lamia started to clean the bathroom and I hung the intermediate light bulbs on the ceiling (the sockets we got from Hubo are rubbish: I have no idea how to disconnect them again and am afraid I will have to cut a bit of the wire when we want to replace them with real lamps).

After elecriticity was roaring through the place and one room after the other got lit up, we drove the A12 in direction of Antwerp to reward ourselves with a sinful bite at McDonald's.

While we were in this area of the A12 which is full of car dealers and garages, Lamia wanted to have her right backlight fixed, which is not working. We first tried Midas. Here we were told very impolitely that changing the backlight of a Nissan Micra is apparently such a complicated thing, that we had to make an appoinment (!) for the late afternoon.

Okay.
That's it for Midas then...

Luckily, there was also a Nissan dealer on the way back home, where the lamp was not only exchanged professionally in a few minutes, but where the staff was also extremely friendly.

We actually stayed a bit longer, had a curious look at the Nissan Quesadilla (or whatever you call this thing) and were so impressed that we took it for a test ride right away.

Really not so bad - and the price is attractive, as car dealers are desperate anyhow and Nissan is just about to do a model upgrading, which adds some discount on top.

Maybe this car could be an option to replace the Micra with?
And this one won't have issues driving down and up the ramp at the new apartment for sure.

We'll see...

Wow, Nissan's model names are really screwed up: "Qashgai"? "Qazana"?

and have you seen the "Cube"? What an ugly car!
