Our names are on the mailbox!

We did not find any big changes in the apartment since my last visit. The heating was running at full throttle, though, and given that I had just taken over the meter on our names, Lamia smartly figured out how the thermostat works and set the target temperature to 15 °C for now (versus the 22 °C it was working against).

We met Gunther, one of the landlords, and we discussed the changes that still need to happen. They have fixed the mix up issue of cold / hot water that I discovered last time, but regarding the big item, i.e. the painting of the doors, we do not have an agreement, yet.

Kristof: Hum, I've gotta talk to my brother.

December 19
Leo: I talked to your brother.
Gunther: Ah, good! What did he say?
Leo: That he needs to talk to you.
Gunther: Oh...

Whose-gonna-paint-those-doors conversations

I informed Gunther about the little problem I had to drive down into the garage. He told us that the ramp actually used to be even steeper (!) and that they had fixed the slope once before (and you can see this if you look closely at the walls, indeed).
After my description of the issue, though, and due to the fact that one of the other tenants seems to drive a Porsche, he concluded that they would have to make another change to the slope at the bottom of the ramp to allow more cars to use the garage.

We also got the keys to the mailbox and we have now put our names on it.
So now it's official: we're going to move in. Exciting (and the place is soooo awesome!).
