Hat Stand

Before Carola and I left Stuttgart after the T-Mobile odyssey we passed by Hut Hanne.

In a way I have the feeling that I could use a hat as a fitting accessory to my outfit, though past searches have been rather sobering. When I was in California in October last year I found a hat that I would have loved to buy, but it was not available in my size.

So today I had another go at Hut Hanne to find something that could fit.
Pretty soon it was clear that the cuts that I had in mind at first did not work at all with my head and look rather stupid. They seem to either hang out of shape above my ears and / or are forming a weird plateau on top.

But then we identified a cut that works actually very nice: a Trilby.

Once more they did not have the right size for the fabrics I liked (I should have 59, better 60), but at least now I know what I am looking for.
