Escape

I admit I did not go at a clever hour to Colruyt today, but after seeing this chaotic gathering in front of the check-outs, I dropped my trolley and went back home.

I admit the crowd is not yet real bad, but I knew by the end of my shopping it would be disaster.

As always, the thing that fuels my rage is the inefficient and slow check-out process, something I struggle to accept in a 21st century, first world supermarket.

I have done Collect&Go already a few times and was very happy with it in most cases.

The downside of this is, that you have to be rather quick to get a slot for next day pick-up. So ordering on a Thursday or Friday night might push your shopping an additional day, which then again might be okay or not...; 7:21 PM, March 29, 2009
