Old versus New

The forwarder who shipped my new furniture to Belgium was extremely friendly, spoke all the languages you could wish for and promised to call me 30 minutes prior to arrival, so that I could quickly leave work and be there for delivery.

The estimated delivery time was around 1 pm, but I did not worry when there was no call around noon.
After all, I was prepared for a delay of hours.

So, getting a bit suspicious, I gave them a call around 5 pm, to check where my stuff was... and just to learn that they had made the delivery already. They had not called at all, but my guardian angel Edouard had let them in. Bahar helped dragging the heavy boxes upstairs and here is how my living room looks now. The old table (unpacked) and the new one (packed):

Alt versus Neu

Need to leave for my Dutch classes, but tonight I will assemble this baby...
